Well boys and girls, I got back from vacation a few days ago. Had a good time chilling and seeing people and stuff like that. I got pictures from some of the cool places I went, and I'll just blog about them. Today I'll share my impressions of the museum at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
It's basically just a bunch of old race cars, like the one above. I think it's interesting to see some of the designs. I'm not a very big racing fan, but nonetheless I had a nice time learning more about the sport and it's history.
My favorite part was finding out something about my family history. The guy who won the first ever Indianapolis 500 was my grandfather's uncle. He was also the guy who invented rear-view mirrors. Yes, I am related to people that did something other then rant. Anyway, here's his car.
We only stayed about an hour, because my grandpa got pissed off at some lady and wanted to get the hell outta there. I got a few pics of the actual track area too. I've seen a couple races here before, but I was young and don't remember that much about them.
On a final note, my second favorite part of the museum was being able to take this picture. While I was taking it, this black hoebag was like "DAT WHITE BOY GETTIN HIS PICTCHASSS!" lol
